Wrinkles are an inevitable part of the aging process. But thanks to modern aesthetic medicine, we can reverse the signs of aging and help you remain eternally youthful with a few simple injections. Xeomin injections allow you to recover your youthful appearance.
Dynamic wrinkles appear because of the overuse of certain facial muscles to create expressions, such as frowning, laughing, and smiling. When you convey emotions, you use facial muscles that gradually grow and expand, eventually leading to deep creases that stay on your face at rest. The onset of facial wrinkles can make you look old and upset, especially if you develop deep forehead lines or frown lines. Xeomin allows us to suppress unwanted facial wrinkles and reverse the signs of aging.
Xeomin is an injectable cosmetic treatment designed to temporarily reduce dynamic wrinkles on the face, including forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. Although it is primarily FDA-approved for moderate to severe frown lines, it can also help with other types of wrinkles. The treatment generally takes just a few days to show results, with continued improvement over two weeks.
Xeomin is a wrinkle relaxer that contains botulinum toxin type A, which is also found in Botox, Dysport, and other similar products. By injecting it into the facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, Xeomin can block the signals from the nearby nerve endings, temporarily paralyzing those muscles and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
Xeomin is a purified botulinum toxin injection that only contains botulinum toxin type a, and no additional protein additives. Unlike other wrinkle relaxers, Xeomin does not contain any other substances added for enhanced stability. With continued use of other wrinkle relaxers, your body may develop a tolerance to them, but that is not a concern with Xeomin. This tolerance can happen even after years of use, which is why many patients who have stopped seeing results from Botox are recommended to use Xeomin instead.
We perform the Xeomin treatment by cleansing your facial skin, applying a numbing gel for your comfort, and marking the treatment areas on your face. Then, we use ultrafine needles to inject the appropriate units of Xeomin into your facial muscles. The entire treatment typically lasts about an hour.
Xeomin typically lasts 3 to 4 months. Touch-ups will be necessary afterwards.
Most patients undergo 3 to 4 Xeomin treatments per year to maintain youthful skin.
Xeomin involves minimal side effects, such as redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, and numbness around the injection points. The side effects last for a few days.

"You should expect to see results within 3 to 4 days, and ongoing improvements over the next 2 weeks."
